Katy Perry lidera a corrida com nove indicações, seguida de Adele e Kanye West

A MTV divulgou nesta madrugada os indicados ao VMA 2011, cerimônia que premia os melhores videoclipes por voto popular.

Katy Perry, que está há mais de um ano sem sair do top 10 na lista Hot 100 da Billboard, lidera a concorrência com nove indicações.


Adele e Kanye West, empatados com sete indicações, vêm em seguida.


Lady Gaga não repetiu o sucesso de indicações do Grammy e concorre a três categorias, assim como Beyoncé e Eminem.

Além dos nomes já esperados do pop, ainda há espaço para o retorno do Beastie Boys, com "Make Some Noise", continuação do icônico clipe "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)" e parte do curta-metragem Fight For Your Right Revisited. Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, Death Cab For Cutie, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Linkin Park e Chromeo também estão na corrida.
